ONDO NUJ ELECTION, to begin on March 18,2022.

It's time for NUJ election.

The tenure of the current executive members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, press Council, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, under the leadership of Tona Aderoboye led administration and his excecutives will be coming to an end soon . For this reason, the union has constituted an electoral committee called NUJECO 2022 headed by Mr Bolu and his team to conduct a free, fair and credible election for the Union. The date of the election has been scheduled for the 18th of March, 2022 .While the nomination guidelines for the election has been drawn by the NUJECO executive for any aspiring candidate to follow.

However, one of the condition in the election guidelines was that the prospective candidate must have been in Journalism profession or practicing for the past seven years, or be an executive at the Chapel level before he or she can be qualified to contest . The vacant post are office of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Vice Secretary, Treasurer , Financial Secretary and Auditor. All these posts are ready for any potential candidate to grab as soon as possible . The candidate are advised to go ahead and collect their nomination form from the Secretariat of the Union as the form will be closing soon , perhaps before the end of the January, 31st, 2022 . And thereafter , a screening will be conducted and any successful candidate after the screening will be the one that will be voted for in the election.
